JAMES WILDERHANCOCK

James WilderHancock fell into the film business in the early 90’s after several weeks of cold calling and mailing resumes to production companies near and far. His first film opportunity found him in Southern Oregon as an unpaid intern on a Grizzly Adams picture. By the end of that three-week gig, he was the Best Boy Grip and shortly received an invitation to Tinsel Town to work on a real Hollywood production.

James recently pivoted from his technical expertise behind the camera to focus more on the creative side as a writer and producer. This transition marks a new chapter, driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling.

He has served on the board of the Oregon Media Production Association, is a founding member of the Oregon Producers Alliance, and is also a plankholder of the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, stationed in Ft. Moore, GA. He is currently developing a project based on those years spent building a special operations unit from the ground up.
