SENTINELS OF FREEDOM

Sentinels of Freedom is a national nonprofit organization that helps severely wounded post-9/11 veterans complete their higher education. Veterans receive comprehensive personal support and financial assistance to achieve success in their post-military careers.


EMORY: GOIZUETA

EMBA AT THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY FISHER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS 

Fisher's nationally ranked, veteran-friendly Executive MBA program is for professionals seeking to grow as well-rounded principled leaders equipped with a versatile skill set to make high-level strategic decisions. They’ve evolved their program to consist of three integrated components: academic curriculum, experiential learning and executive coaching. These elements provide a comprehensive and wholistic experience, all while providing minimal disruption to your busy life.


THE POSSE VETERANS PROGRAM

The Posse Veterans Program identifies, trains, and supports veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces interested in pursuing bachelor’s degrees at top colleges and universities.

Those accepted into the program attend college as part of a team of veterans—a Veterans Posse. Participants receive training prior to matriculating on campus and mentoring once enrolled. In addition, Posse partner colleges provide veterans in the program with supplemental funding to cover the full cost of tuition.

SERVICE TO SCHOOL

Service to School (S2S) helps veterans gain admission to the best college for them while empowering each veteran to make informed decisions about their education. S2S pairs veterans with mentors, called Ambassadors, to work together on areas of the college or graduate school application. These include reviewing transcripts, editing and reviewing essays and personal statements, preparing for school interviews, helping with networking opportunities, direct connection with Admissions Officers and much more.


WARRIOR-SCHOLAR PROJECT

Warrior-Scholar Project (WSP) partners with top colleges and universities across the United States to host immersive one and two week college-preparatory training programs for enlisted Veterans and service members. Under the direct guidance of professors and professional tutors, groups of Veterans and service members from a variety of backgrounds hone academic skills through exposure to university-level curriculum across three disciplines- Humanities, STEM and Business. Participants emerge from this transformative experience prepared to excel in higher education and with access to an invaluable network of high-achieving Veterans across academia.


THE CATALYST PROGRAM

The Catalyst Program is a hybrid higher education and transition program designed for degree completion and job placement. 

The program combines civilian recruiting with in-class undergraduate and graduate education, mentoring, networking, and on-the-job shadowing to assist in the military-to-civilian transition. LEAD THE WAY FUND

Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund’s Collegiate Access Program (CAP) and Graduate Access Program (GAP) provide transitioning Rangers interested in advanced education with valuable resources to help them fill those financial gaps that they suffer from.

The CPT Connor Bednarzyk Five Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of their Education Grant Program created specifically for current, former, and transitioning Rangers from any Ranger Battalion. The Special Operators Transition Foundation, (SOTF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides Special Operations Forces (SOF) veterans curated assistance to transition them from their military service to their next successful career.


MILITARY ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION

Military Assistance Foundation (MAF) is a veteran non-profit that assists veterans and active duty service members with their educational pursuits. They advise and help with the journey to gain admissions to top-tier universities. These services extend to both undergrad and graduate school. 

COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR VETERAN TRANSITION AND INTEGRATION

Columbia University launched the Center for Veteran Transition and Integration to have a direct and lasting impact on the issue of veteran transition and upward mobility by creating and providing access to the best-in-class tools and programming veterans need as they transition from active service to college and the workforce.
