Celebration of life and burial for CSM(R) Walter Rakow.

A celebration of life for Walter will be held on Saturday, 3 May 2025, 1:00 p.m., at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah, Wisconsin. Family and friends are invited for the visitation which from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.

Burial with full military honors will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery. A Once an Eagle ceremony will be conducted with any Ranger who attends. Bring your beret and brush up on the Ranger Creed.

Following the services, all are welcome to join the family for dinner and to share fond memories.

The Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements.
