Al is President, a board member and co-owner of Patriot Group International, Inc., a mission support services company for U.S. Government and commercial customers. PGI has repeatedly been selected selected by Virginia Business Magazine, through their employee survey process, as a Best Place To Work in Virginia.

Al’s twenty years of military experience include service as a U.S. Army infantry NCO in the 75th Ranger Regiment’s 1st , 2nd , and 3rd Battalions, and seven years of operational service in a special mission unit. His final assignment was as an Army ROTC instructor at Central Washington University, where he was selected as the U.S. Army ROTC instructor of the year in 2003, and completed a Master of Science degree in organization development.

Al was selected for induction into the Ranger Hall Of Fame, class of 2020. He serves as a volunteer mentor to transitioning Army Rangers through the Three Rangers Foundation. His volunteer work also includes successful evacuations of targeted and at-risk Afghan families.
