Empowering Ranger Regimental veterans and affiliates to achieve lifelong success through personalized mentorship.
We hold the Gold Star in the highest position and closest to our heart. It represents the respect we hold for our Gold Star families, and to honor the sacrifice of our brothers and sisters who have died serving this great Nation.
The Compass represents a true azimuth. We strive to keep on the right course; one that is legal, ethical, and moral, in all that we do. We are ultimately responsible for our own actions and must take full credit for them.
The Lightning Bolt defines taking action. As a foundation, we must seize an opportunity when it presents itself. We are an aggressive lot by nature, striking when conditions are right, and powerful when present.
The Parachute is representative of living and the pursuit of adventure. To throw oneself into the abyss and accept a challenge demonstrates our zeal for a truly remarkable life. One that has inherent risks, but worth every minute.
The concept of the Foundation came from our founder John Collett. John was part of Task Force Ranger, which was the primary assault force in the Battle of Mogadishu. When John returned home, he recognized deficiencies in his transition to the civilian world and envisioned a Foundation which could facilitate this transition for other Rangers. John did not have experience running a foundation, but he excelled at distilling whiskey. One day, John designed a one-of-a-kind recipe, which became the premier recipe for Three Rangers Whiskey. Although the two entities share a name, the leadership and management for each are kept separate. We hold the Gold Star in the highest position, and closest to our heart. It represents the respect we have for our Gold Star families, as well as to honor the sacrifice of our brothers and sisters who have died serving this great Nation.
Who We Support
Initially, our scope was too large, and we offered assistance to veterans from all branches and eras. In 2019, we revised our focus to specifically help Rangers and Gold Star Families from the US Army’s 75th Regiment, to include veterans of affiliated Special Operation Forces (SOF) units. These elite SOF elements are consistently called to be the tip of the spear, who “shoulder more than my share of the task” and subsequently are the most heavily burdened with the scars of combat. The needs of these elite warriors are unique, and assisting their transition back to civilian life is one of the primary focuses of the foundation.
